Ever wonder what are the green ,purple and orange concealers in different concealer palettes . No green aliens ares using makeup I suppose but actually these green , purple and orange toned things are called "CORRECTORS." They are used for different sorts of imperfections on the face

The following colors are used for:

• Green : Any redness or scars on the face or reddish colored pimples.
• Purple: For pale areas on the face and to brighten up the face. Its mostly used around the T-Zone
• Orange/ Rust : For blue areas on the face . Its mainly used on the under eye circles or visible capillaries and veins

And trust me , correctors make a huge difference in covering imperfections. Two years ago when I did not have a corrector because I probably couldn't find one , I used to put a green eyeshadow instead of a corrector to do her makeup .

Sorry guyz , my computer got some sort of virus in it and I couldn't post things for a couple of days but today I have a very interesting tip for ya'll.

It is best to use water based foundations if you have any sort of acne issues as oil based foundations aggravate these.

Some times you could just get that exact false lash effect by applying two mascaras at a time. One for lengthening and the other for volumizing. You won't have to go through the pain of applying false lashes or the fear that they might come off at party(this happens if youre not an expert at applying false lashes).

Bad sleeping habit is not the only reason causing dark circles. If you rub your eyes too much , it ruptures the capillaries under the skin which ultimately turn blue resulting into dark circles. You rub your eyes because your eyesight is weak therefore get spectacles instead of rubbing your eyes. Also it can cause your skin to loosen ultimately resulting into wrinkles so better quit doing that and you are free of dark circles.To heal your dark circles increase protein intake.

As the year is about to end some things have been the "way to go" things and really deserve the attention while the others are too lame to be bothered about.So this one would be a good way to spread the awareness of which makeup to invest in.

If you want your lipstick to last longer , apply a coat of clear lipgloss or one which is the same color and then rub ice over it . If you want your lipgloss to last longer , apply a coat of lipstick and rub ice over it. The ice keeps the lipgloss or the lipstick from melting or fading away.

Tip of the day 10

Prevent from taking steam or steam baths as it causes the cheek pores to open...it obviously looks bad. And if you already have them then a cure is to rub lemon and ice all over the face. Lemon removes all the dirt giving a glow and preventing pimples while the ice (opposite of steam) contracts the pores , means helps them close up.

No matter how good , expensive , branded or high end your primer is , too much of it can still cause really bad creasing. Remember! too much of anything is bad...

Tip of the day # 8

Avoid using pressed or loose powders or too much of it as it very badly results into caking up your make and makes your makeup turn grey after some time. Only apply it to the t-zone or the oily areas of your face.Believe me ,the example given in the  picture below can actually happen( i mean not literally to that extent) as when you apply layers of powder over your foundation , there can be cracks due to air spaces!!

Avoid applying shimmery makeup if you have any imperfections on your face,it really help enhancing it which is even worse.

If you have a large face apply your blush starting from the temples of your cheek (cheek bones near the ear and towards the apple of the cheeks) and if if you have a smaller face cut then you apply your blush starting from the apples of the cheeks and towards the temples (that is the other way round).This will create an illusion either way.

It is not necessary that a shampoo that suits your friend's or sister's may also suit your hair. Every one has different hair types so it is useless to ask people about what shampoo they use. Consult a dermatologist or try on different shampoo brands until you find the perfect babe

Blue eyeliner best suits brown eyes.Blue is opposite brown on the color wheel, that means it pops the eye color yet giving it a more sultry look.It also looks more appealing.

For a deeper looking crease apply a matte eyeshadow 1 or 2 shades darker than your skin tone. It gives a heavy effect to the eyes . Heavier eyes look beautiful and big.

If you have really small eyes that look almost closed (now come on i dont mean to say like almost no eyes :P) apply your highlighting shade in the tear ducts , do not use too much eye liner and apply eyeliner halfway in your waterline. That is going to open up your eyes and give a pop! Oh and I almost forgot , white eyeliner helps    a lot though it looks a bit harsh. Another thing is not really necessary is you can use circle lenses, the widens the eyes!
