Batman Inspired EOTD

Iv'e been obssessing over Batman since the end of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy , I have always been into superheroes as alot of my readers wouldve known but I believe that Batman is somehow related to me and my life , But man Christian Bale's Batman is damn sexy with all those Batpod , Batmobile and "the Bat" as they call it , So today i created a Batman inspired makeup look , this may not be the best but this is the final thing i could come up with...

This look is a blend between summer and fall , and although after being so neutral, it has a fun pop to it which is the best part , it can be paired with either a nude< coral or red lip and go with the latest trends. And although i'm a bit late on this but this look will still be great for december as winter's are pretty late in karachi...

Once again , here is a look that i submitted for a contest .. not wearable though but a bit festive so you got to wait for the right time and place to wear this. This is Iron Man inspired (iron man is my favourite super hero cuz Robert Downey Jr plays the role)

A color block challenge on makeup geek took place two weeks ago and here is my entry, now I had full faith I was going to win but I did not , and one big reason could be that I did not follow one of their rules that was , to hold a makeup geek sign in one of you pics

Makeup for brown eyes FOTD

Its been a very tiring week end , phew! But getting back to my blogging schedule I did a green dramatic makeup look for brown eyes , now everyone knows that green pops brown eyes so here is my version of the look. Its wearable too...

Summer trends (five day series)... Double Flick liner.

This summer trend series will allow me to share five latest trends , one for each day and the first one includes the DOUBLE FLICK EYELINER. I earlier did a Hawkeye inspired makeup look and did a double flick eyeliner. This summer , the winged eyeliner look has evolved into a double flick eyeliner. Looks like drama is taking over the simple trends , first bright red lipsticks and now double flick liners. Although this look is pretty simple to achieve , All you have to do is created a winged liner look and then just add one more flick. When I was surfing the net ,It was pretty amazing to see that now they are not just doing the double flick but they have gone two steps further . They are painting wings with black all over the lid , however the one i did below is the simplest form , I do not find it unwearable , I am planning to try this out while going out somewhere at the mall or hanging out with friends.

Hawkeye inspired look with a double flick liner

Hawkeye is definitely not my favourite superhero but I find his purple costume with the bow and arrow quite catchy and a bit different from other superheroes , so inspired by his costume colour and bow and arrow , i created this look.

A warm eye makeup look for summer. EOTD

As we all can feel summer is here and everyone is going all bronze , I created this warm golden/bronze look which is perfect for summer . (The eyeliner was a total mistake , should have been a bit thinner , lol)

I had gotten the M.A.C eyeshadow in "cranberry"  because I just wanted to own a M.A.C eyeshadow (how stupid of me to waste money). Cranberry is a reddish plum shade which I later realized was of no use to me but when I bought M.A.C eyeshadow in "expensive pink" I had paired them up to create the perfect signature look for me and my cranberry did not go to waste  :P while this look is perfect for brown eyes.

Spring inspired makeup look for a makeup geek contest.. FOTD

Oki so about a month ago I submitted these pics on a makeup geek contest and I had no plan posting these here but now I have changed my mind. I did not win but It was still a nice and tough competition.Plus I did two posts in a day as I haven't been posting anything since a week (exams going on) but to fill in the gap I am doing another   post.

Modern glam ... FOTD using Naked Palette .

Sophisticated brown smokey eye.

Well smokey eye sounds a bit harsh for a wearable/ practical look for all times of the day , but this look is great for day , evening , night , work as its a brown smokey eye. It is just too neutral and goes with any dress , color plus I created this with the new clinique quad I got so I was excited to post this one.

NOTD fake nails.

I simply hate using nail polishes. I can't live with it and scrape it off the second after I apply it . So i found a way  out. Fake Nails! Although they are equally annoying but are more beautiful and temporary. My nails suck! they are short and square shaped so fake nails are a much better option. I get or order mine from Canada as stamped fake nails are not easily available here . Although you find those as sentiments but they are too gaudy and are not good quality. long untrimmed nails allow bacteria to make home no matter how much you claim that you clean them so again here I thing false nails are a better option as you can remove them after a while. Here are a few designs that I got and wanted to show them!

Dolly pink look ! FOTD

I've been posting alot of dramatic looks lately so I though this one would be good for a change! The simple colors go with the bold eyeliner to neutralize the look for daytime or to make it more wearable. Its actually a dolly look and pretty easy to achieve!

EOTD with M.A.C Cranberry eyeshadow.

It is hard to pull of red eyeshadows or any bold color that might look a bit too loud on you but for "cranberry" being a plum/red it is great for popping any eye color and its easy to pull it off. But for today the look is pretty bold and might be wearable for someone who is daring or has no issues wearing a dramatic look.

Pakistan day / Pakistan wins asia cup day look :P

23rd March is an important day in the history of Pakistan (I know i am a little late with this post) and it is just the day after Pakistan won its 2nd Asia cup , so to celebrate I prepared this green green post, Hope you enjoy it.
